Stone goddess...

I actually had some down time today, to explore our lovely metaverse.

I've been to japan, france, and even an african sim.. but have never been to england..

So I decided to hit the search to see what I could find.

What did I find? Stonehenge.

Decided to teleport there, upon arrival I meet the creator of the sim. It is actually a full scale replica of the original. It's beautiful...its quiet... its...serene. And also has some great poses for simply beautiful photo opporitunities...

the pose is called, energize.. I just think it's so...beautiful...( and of course you know I had to get all whimsical with it, so I put on the Danica dress from [[seVan]], ADORABLE!

The shoes you see here are SC's Delia Print Flat's in Flower Funk, and the bracelet are from Sh*t Happens, entitled "Snowy Orange Bangles".

I just love this pose...there's something so...vulnerable about it... innocent even. With the cute little flower there.
The hair in this shot (as with all the others) is from ETD called "Flowing", I must say I totally love the bangs in this shot... This sim alone, made me want to scramble around my mother in laws house to look for her copy of photoshop.. there is just so many possibilities with this photo..AAAH!

I also had the joy of attending a live performance at the JSP sim:

His music was so..inspiring. I will definitely have to look for more of his venues..(doesn't hurt that he's a cutie!).

As for right now, I'm heading over to mah fave new hangout Mad Nics for some hockey...maybe I'll whoop her booty this time.... who am I kiddin'?!!?

Little posty posty...

So recently I've been spending some down time at mah friends club "Madd Nic", its a cute little club with a pool, an adorable stage, an area to do naughty thing :P, and get this! An Ice skating ring! (Which is without a doubt my favorite area). They've even got goals set up to play Ice Skating Ring Beach Ball Hockey :P!

I told them as soon as I've gotten settled in mah new RL apartment, I'll be able to DJ for them, so definitely look out for that!

With all the commotion around my house yesterday, I forgot to tell everyone to have a Wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope it was the best!

Sam's Secret Closet Fashion Show

Ok I must admit, I'm alittle giddy as this is the first fashion show I've been to and am going to review on.. *SQUEEE* Ok.. enough of the girlyness, and on to the goods!

Unfortunately because of heavy lagtasticness, I was unable to see the names of each individual outfit, however I do have several photos to share!

This gorgeous gown was first inline, you can see the sheer lacy overlay of the red skirt. I thought this was absolutely divine, and I was not alone as several members of the audience shouted "I want that one daaawling". The decolletage of this ensemble is plunging, but in the right direction, so many times we see a designer just run straight for the belly button. This however, is done quite tastefully.

When Miss Thang, came strutting down the run way in this, you KNOW she was feeling herself. Furthermore you know that if a model struts like there's no tomorrow in an outfit you've given her to wear, either that is some serious modeling, or you're just that damn good of a designer. For this out fit I'm definitely going to have to say: " You're just that damned good of a designer". With hand drawn sequins over the top of the blouse, shoulders, and sleeves. This dress is sure to make you feel cosmically entranced!

I absolutely fell in love with this gown.. the layers, the colors, the final pose of the model. Everything about this particular gown made me want to just applaud the night away. No photo could do this one justice, you simply have to take a trip over to Sam's, and try it on. I myself shall be paying a visit today as I simply MUST have this in my inventory...

As with the gown above, this seems to be a casual for of that very same gown. The swaying of the skirt, and the boning in the botice is absolutely delightful, giving you a very structured look, and yet making it feel and seem as though it is just effortless. (Did I mention I was seriously in love with her hair!?!?).

A different take on the second photo, above, little fabric strips and layers have been added to give it a very fun flair. Again the sequins over the top, shoulders, and arms, have been hand drawn as well as the detailing on the fabric from which the skirt has been made. Marvelous!

I swear, they must have known Orange was my favorite color. This is another completely fun outfit, I am especially fond of the shirt, I love the bias cut, and just the way it hangs from the torso gives it a slightly futuristic "5th Element" sort of feel! Love it!

So, I must tell you, this event was so much fun, and I only hope to continue doing this, as I found it quite inspiring. Do trust, next time there will be more photos (of better quality..:P currently in the midst of an RL move soooo..*le sigh* yeeeah..).

Huzzah huzzah!

Well gooood morning ladies and gents of the metaverse blogisphere (aka..:P Second life).
Allow me to introduce my self, I am Afrosia Choche. An aspiring model, a beautiful soul, and a serious shop-a-holic. But..well who isn't.. a shop-a-holic that is.

I hope I can bring to the table something new...something fresh. An insight into this whole modeling/second life thing that will give you a clear view of everything going on in my pixelated life.
This is not, and will not be about reality as we know it (real life). But that of a second reality. However should something in my first life transpire that should be noted, I will go forth and do so.

I hope not to bore you, only delight and entertain you!

Having said those words, let the free flowing stories and thoughts of our second stratusphere commence!
